Had an excellent and informative tour of the Carlisle in SF and liked many things about it. It has the most spacious, light and bright apartments of all the places we have seen, with lovely big balconies to give you an outdoor space of your own. Well appointed kitchen and own washer/dryer in unit is great. Bathrooms needed updating, but that wouldn't be hard to do. I prefer white or neutral paint rather than buttery/cream for walls, but again - not hard to change! Spacious resident lounge/community space and dining room, plus an outdoor shared space too.
We moved my parents into the Carlisle a year ago and could not be more pleased with the services. From the services provided, the activities, to the food-- everything is top notch. What truly makes this place stand out are the people. Everyone is thoughtful kind, professional, and goes out of their way to ensure the best care is provided at all times. We are so grateful to the entire staff every day for the care they provide our parents in this stage of life. We feel very lucky to be there.
We are so happy we chose The Carlisle. We are well taken care of. The staff is lovely and kind and the other residents are amazingly talented and well-traveled and interesting. The apartments are diverse and comfortable, the activities keep us stimulated and the food is excellent. Give it a try!
